What am I responsible for as an advertiser?
Advertisers are responsible for understanding the products and any charges incurred by an ad after confirming order and checking out. In addition, advertisers are responsible for understanding our products, policies, and services in addition to managing their own accounts. Macbellads is not required to refund requests due to mismanagement on the part of the user.
When will my ads run?
An approved ad will begin running on a site after a few minutes, immediately after our system has refreshed, unless it is a flat rate with a specific start date. You will be notified, via email, if your ad is approved or rejected. Although a publisher is not obligated to provide a reason when rejecting an ad, we highly recommend that they do.
Where will my ads appear?
For site targeted ads, this is up to you. You choose which sites you want displaying your ad. For keyword targeted ads, Macbellads will display your ads on sites that match the keywords you provide.
How long will it take for my ad to be approved?
Site targeted ads are generally approved by publishers within 24 to 48 hours, but publishers have 7 days to approve or reject ads purchased for their sites. Please note that after 7 days, Macbellads may review the pending ad and act on the publisher’s behalf based on their “Ad Content” filter preferences and past approval behavior. Keyword targeted ads are not subject to initial approval by individual publishers, and will go live soon after you create them.

What are keyword targeted ads and how do they work?
By placing a keyword-targeted ad, Macbellads finds relevant sites in our network on which to display your ad. These ads run on a pre-determined maximum CPC and daily budget set by you. Your keywords can be based on the topic of your campaign or your target audience. A keyword-targeted ad placed will continue to run until you cancel the campaign.

Advertisers provide keywords based on their products and the users they are targeting, while publishers provide keywords based on site topics and visitor demographics. All keywords are reviewed by the Macbellads team for relevancy. Macbellads uses these keywords to create the best possible matches between advertisers and publishers.
How does Macbellads determine which keyword targeted ads will appear?
Macbellads identifies ads that are relevant to a site’s content based on advertisers’ predefined categories and the keywords they provide. In addition, our system will display ads based on advertisers’ price settings and past performance.
How can I find the right sites for my budget?
You can search for sites by clicking “Browse the Text Ad marketplace” located in the Direcory. Use the “Narrow your search” categories on the left hand side of the page to refine your selection.
